Regrets

REGRETS
by Rachelle Arlin Credo

If I could only stop my heart from beating
I should have not lived in vain
If I could only stop the aching
I should have eased the pain

If I could only see what's behind
I should have not been like this
If I could only control my heart and mind
I should have not lived in a mess

If I ever just knew
What you were really up to
I should have not gone through
Loving you so...
